Between 30 and 45 rangatahi are engaged each school term through hands-on learning across environmental restoration, māra kai, regenerative growing, outdoor cooking, cultural learning, and whenua-based mentoring.
Over four terms annually, that represents approximately 120 to 180 rangatahi engagements per year.
Since 2023, WithIN NATURE has been actively restoring land, waterways, and ecosystems across Northland - alongside rangatahi, marae, and community partners. This is what that mahi looks like.
These sites span riparian restoration, food forests, biodiversity regeneration, whenua-based education, and long-term environmental stewardship.

WithIN NATURE’s first dedicated regenerative production and learning site is underway.
Planned infrastructure includes a 200sqm production polyhouse, 300sqm shade house and nursery system, a 2-acre regenerative food forest, outdoor learning environments, māra kai systems, and regenerative education spaces.
The site will function as a living classroom for rangatahi, whānau, kai sovereignty, environmental restoration, and regenerative enterprise learning.
