Currently Innovation Investment Manager for Auckland Council directing a mission focused portfolio of public and eternally funded for impact ventures. An investor in education models and learning environments for 15 years including affordability, accessibility, alternative education approaches and environments internationally.
An MBA with a focus on social enterprise leadership in new markets with a background in law by degree.

Matua Te Raa Nehua (1948–2025)
Matua Te Raa Nehua was a deeply respected kaumātua, cultural advisor, and founding board member of WithIN NATURE Charitable Trust. As the taumata of Whakapara Marae, a role he upheld with mana and dedication for more than 12 years, Matua Te Raa was a steadfast champion of te reo Māori, mātauranga Māori, and the wellbeing of his people.
As a kaiako at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, he dedicated much of his life to teaching te reo Māori and supporting others to reconnect with their language, identity, whakapapa, and tikanga. His wisdom, humility, and unwavering commitment to cultural revitalisation touched countless lives throughout Te Tai Tokerau and beyond.
As a founding board member of WithIN NATURE, Matua Te Raa helped shape the kaupapa and values that continue to guide our mahi today. His leadership ensured that our work remained grounded in tikanga Māori and centred on the principles of kaitiakitanga, manaakitanga, and whanaungatanga.
Although Matua Te Raa has now passed on, his legacy lives on through the rangatahi, whānau, and communities he inspired. We remain deeply grateful for his guidance, aroha, and belief in our vision. His presence continues to be felt in the work we do and the seeds he helped plant for future generations.
